There is no doubt that this type of GZ34 "METAL RING BASE" is now a "CULT" for all lovers and enthusiasts of Vintage Valves, in particular, for those for AUDIO use, in the power supply sections of amplifiers as it is. it has always been used in the history of audio amplification, from Williamson, Leak, Quad to Mullard circuits and many others. VERY RARE PERFECTLY MATCHED AND BALANCED PAIR of GZ34 PHILIPS "METAL RING" BASE coded rS1 55L and rS1 55D, ie they are a Primordial version, original made in Eindhoven, Holland in 1955 (the second version produced, the first cod. RSB). The valve are used but in extremely excellent condition; for both bright flashed-tops, one has a flashed area near the base, this was sometimes normal in production. Both GZ34s are electrically fully functional with FULL force and emission over 100% (Under TEST for 15 min). Structurally typical RARE construction with smooth cross plates strongly welded, double DD-getter. In the opinion of many, the use of this tube can greatly change the sound of your amplifier; it is not for nothing that Kondo preferred it and used it in the legendary ONGAKU and KAGURA amplifiers.
