RS242 TELEFUNKEN E130 RS242X PAIR TRIODE DHT TOTALLY NEW FINAL AUDIO AMPLIFICATION NOS / NIB

The RS242X ( RS242 ) valve is, undoubtedly, an excellent DHT TRIODE produced in Germany by TELEFUNKEN starting from the second half of the 1930s, mainly for use in easily "transportable" military radio equipment where the space for the contained tubes and the weight in general had to be reduced. The RS242 is of exceptional manufacture, both for the high quality level of the German Brand but also for the military use and the specific "field" use of the equipment that mounted it, such as the 5W.Sc Transmitters and the Funkstation TL Ase 211. The RS242 is basically the smaller sister (in physical size) of the famous RS241 Triode, desired and loved tube by AUDIO tube's Lovers. Even the RS242 has excellent AUDIO performances and for this, today, much desired! A good amount of information is available on the WEB. This is a RARE and totally PERFECT PAIR of RS242 X (with identification: IX), absolutely NOS/NIB (previously the SEALED Tests) with its Boxes, logo-label and original packaging as, probably, NEVER seen until now, it seems to have made a leap in the time of about 90 years !! The two valves are obviously identical, typical Balloon shape, very sturdy internal structure, graphite raven BLACK plate, finally note the beautiful double ribbon filament coated with oxide, double inverted V. Also note the refinement of the upper mica shape for heat dissipation. The valves test, of course, over 100% and perfectly matched! Opportunity more than RARE given also for the "fetishist" conditions of NEW OLD STOCK.
