6CG7 / 6FQ7 / 7026

The 6CG7 like the 6FQ7 is an RCA design from 1951, they are the miniature noval pin successors of the 6SN7 and are electrically equivalent. This tube is a universal double triode and has been mainly used in radio receiving devices but having characteristics that lie between the 6SN7 and 12AU7 (ECC82), it has recently nurtured strong interest for use in Audio frequency.
